HVAC Inspection Services

IH&SC offers heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) inspection services as part of comprehensive program to improve indoor air quality. This service includes a thorough inspection of the HVAC components to identify potential problems. The service can include a video inspection of the air duct system. An ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) equipped with a video camera and lighting system can move quickly through the duct work of most buildings, determining the need for cleaning or maintenance.

IH&SC employs a specially modified AirCare Video Inspection System, to conduct air duct surveys and determine risks for mold and dust exposure. Most recently, the system was used to inspect the extensive duct work of Shelton High School.
